About the Company

Express Employment is seeking multiple reliable and safety-oriented Construction Laborers for a local construction company in Clinton, IA. This position will work on a variety of field projects, assisting with concrete forming, puddling, finishing, and epoxy flooring preparation and installation. Depending on experience, there may also be opportunities to operate various types of construction equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with concrete forming, puddling, and finishing.
• Prepare and install epoxy flooring.
• Operate construction machinery based on experience, including skid steers, AWP/scissor lifts, rollers, excavators, and heavy trucks.
• Work alongside a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company and job-site safety guidelines and procedures.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, crouching, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Maintain a dependable work schedule and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Strong commitment to workplace and job-site safety.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to regularly lift over 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in steel erection, concrete work, or carpentry is highly preferred.
• Previous experience operating construction equipment such as skid steers, lifts, rollers, excavators, or heavy trucks is a plus.
• Experience with concrete finishing or epoxy flooring is helpful.
