Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Fireplace Installer to join a growing installation team. This is a hands-on construction position involving the installation of fireplaces, venting systems, chimneys, and related components in residential and commercial settings.

The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, carpentry, remodeling, roofing, HVAC, or a similar skilled trade and be comfortable working with tools and at heights. Fireplace-specific experience is helpful but not required for someone with strong construction skills who is willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Install fireplaces, inserts, venting systems, chimneys, and related components
• Work on rooftops, ladders, and elevated areas to complete chimney and vent installations
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials according to specifications
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting installation materials
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Troubleshoot installation issues as they arise
• Communicate professionally with customers and other team members
• Follow manufacturer specifications and company safety procedures
• Work occasional weekend installations as scheduling requires

Requirements

• Previous construction, carpentry, roofing, HVAC, remodeling, or similar hands-on experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working at heights and on ladders/rooftops
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying installation materials
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Dependable transportation and reliable attendance
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends when installations require it

Compensation & Benefits

• $18–$20/hour DOE
• Monday–Friday primary schedule
• Occasional weekend installation work
• Vacation pay after 1 year
• Sick pay after 1 year
