We are seeking a dependable, hands-on individual to join a manufacturing company in Odessa, FL. This is a versatile position for someone who enjoys variety, works well with their hands, and is comfortable taking on different responsibilities throughout the day.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, reliable, organized, and willing to assist wherever needed.

Location: Odessa, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m.-5:40 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Package finished parts and prepare orders for shipment
• Wrap, protect, label, and box manufactured components
• Perform general facility maintenance and minor repairs
• Complete basic handyman and facility improvement projects
• Assist with light mechanical and product assembly
• Perform painting, touch-ups, and surface preparation
• Install, repair, or replace basic facility and shop items
• Safely use common hand and power tools
• Move materials, supplies, boxes, and equipment as needed
• Keep shop, work areas, and common areas clean and organized
• Assist production personnel with miscellaneous shop support
• Help with maintenance and improvement projects throughout the facility
• Perform other general shop and facility duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, handyman work, construction, manufacturing, warehouse operations, or a similar hands-on environment preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks
• Comfortable performing a variety of duties throughout the day
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to perform physical work and lift or move materials as required
• Packaging, shipping, assembly, or painting experience is a plus
• Manufacturing or industrial experience is helpful but not required

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

About the Position

This is not a position where you will perform the same task all day. Responsibilities may vary depending on the needs of the shop.

Some days may involve packaging and preparing finished parts for shipment, while others may include maintenance, repairs, assembly, painting, cleaning, organizing, or assisting with projects throughout the facility.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping things organized and maintained, and is willing to help wherever needed.
