Who We Are!
Mountain View Community Development (MVCD) was formalized in 2022 as an outgrowth from Mountain View Fellowship to care for unhoused neighbors. The church began hosting a winter shelter, cooling shelter, and access to shower and laundry in partnership with local service providers. MVCD championed the ordinance allowing Safe Parking in the city of Redmond, and soon expanded from 1 location to 8 locations, serving approximately 50 people each night. Currently the organization is expanding into the City of Bend.
