Warehouse Clerk / Forklift Certified

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick sales orders accurately using handheld scanners and established warehouse procedures.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, descriptions, and warehouse locations while picking material.
• Move picked material to designated checking, staging, will-call, packaging, or shipping areas.
• Assist with receiving, put-away, replenishment, transfers, and other material-movement activities as assigned.
• Use Epicor P21 / warehouse management systems and handheld scanners to accurately record warehouse activity.
• Ensure all required scanner transactions are completed so inventory movement and employee activity are properly captured in the system.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage pallets, boxes, threaded rod, fasteners, and other warehouse material safely.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other approved material-handling equipment in accordance with company requirements.
• Maintain material in the correct warehouse locations and immediately report location, quantity, or inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory verification, and material-location checks when assigned.
• Support will-call, order checking, packaging, shipping, and receiving functions as operational needs require.
• Identify and report damaged material, incorrect product, shortages, overages, or other discrepancies to warehouse leadership.
• Maintain clean and organized aisles, staging areas, workstations, and material-storage locations.
• Follow established warehouse traffic flow, pedestrian, forklift, PPE, and safety procedures.
• Participate in daily warehouse huddles and communicate incomplete work, material issues, or operational concerns to leadership.
• Perform additional general warehouse duties as assigned based on daily operational requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous warehouse, distribution, order-picking, shipping, receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately count, identify, pick, stage, and move warehouse material.
• Experience using handheld scanners, WMS, ERP, or similar warehouse systems preferred.
• Epicor P21 experience is a plus.
• Forklift and pallet-jack experience preferred; must complete required company training/certification before operating powered equipment.
• Basic math and inventory-counting skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and established warehouse procedures.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining required productivity and accuracy standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly with warehouse leadership and other departments.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and ability to consistently work the assigned morning-shift schedule.
