Maintenance Technician

Located in Bloomington, IN

Salary: $18.00 / hr

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to help maintain an apartment community and ensure units and common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This position involves a variety of general maintenance, unit turn, cleaning, and groundskeeping tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, and comfortable staying active throughout the workday.

Job Summary

• Replace blinds, filters, light fixtures, batteries, outlet covers, shower heads, and other basic maintenance items
• Complete basic unit turns, including painting and general repairs
• Patch and repair drywall
• Perform general labor and clean-up duties
• Pick up rubbish and maintain the cleanliness of the property
• Vacuum and mop units and common areas as needed
• Walk throughout the apartment complex to identify and address maintenance needs
• Assist with trash removal and other property maintenance tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience Required

• Previous maintenance technician experience required
• Experience with basic property or apartment maintenance preferred
• Experience with painting, drywall repair, and general maintenance tasks preferred

Skills & Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe property
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable and able to manage multiple maintenance tasks
• Comfortable with constant movement and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to occasionally lift heavy items
• Hands-on approach to maintenance and general labor tasks

Location: Bloomington, IN

Pay: $18.00/hr

Position Type: Evaluation

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
