CNC Machine Operator 

Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and machining centers according to specifications
• Utilize CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and understand G-code for machining operations
• Operate auxiliary manufacturing equipment as needed
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Verify dimensions and tolerances to ensure product quality standards are met
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic machine maintenance
• Accurately document production activities and quality checks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Safely move materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or similar machining equipment
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other CNC control systems preferred
• Understanding of CAM software and G-code programming concepts
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tooling setups
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and machining tolerances
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and factory operations
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team
