Master Automotive Technician
Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour (Based on Experience, Skill, and Certifications)
Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a reputable automotive service company seeking an experienced Master Automotive Technician to join their team.
This position is ideal for a highly skilled technician who is ASE certified (or ASE Master Certified) and capable of performing advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of domestic and foreign vehicles, including both newer and older models.
Responsibilities
  • Perform complete preventive maintenance services (PMs), inspections, and routine vehicle maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance issues.
  • Service engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering components, brakes, HVAC systems, and other vehicle systems.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical resources to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
  • Answer customer questions and provide professional recommendations regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
  • Communicate technical findings clearly to customers and team members.
  • Advise customers on necessary services and maintenance recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation and service records.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to industry standards.
  • Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair procedures.
Qualifications
  • ASE Certification required; ASE Master Technician certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of automotive repair and diagnostic experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and foreign vehicles, including both modern and older automotive systems.
  • Proficient in advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Experience using scan tools, diagnostic software, and repair information systems.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
