Warehouse Team Member

Located in New Berlin, WI

Salary: $20/hr

Hours 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Pay rate $20/ hour 

 

 

The Warehouse Team Member will perform all tasks required in the completion of all phases of product handling. This individual will also complete all work through adherence to product specification, company policy and procedure and accepted standards.

 

Essential Functions:
1. Perform all assigned duties safely.
2. Complete production orders accurately and safely in a timely manner.
3. Accurately pull and stage product for customer pickup and load, watch for damage onto Amarr delivery trucks, trailers, and customer vehicles for delivery loads.
4. Review and inspect loaded material for accuracy with the dealer prior to them signing for the material.
5. Unload and accurately receive incoming product; includes inspecting for and reporting damage to DC management.
6. Ensure good housekeeping practices.
7. Courteous, customer service oriented attitude.
8. Ability to work independently without constant direct supervision.
9. Perform warehousing and merchandise handling tasks in all phases of operations.
10. Perform required light assembly tasks within the guidelines of product specifications.
11. Provide personal attention to customer requests, or product needs during all customer interactions.
12. Maintain and practice company safety policies and procedures.
13. Provide assistance to Door Center Management to ensure building and product security; including inventory & damage control.
14. Other reasonably related duties as assigned.
Other Job Responsibilities and Physical Requirements:
1. Must perform work in non-climate controlled warehouse facility.
2. Extended time on feet; walking distances up to 200 feet.
3. Manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination for operation of hand /power tools.
4. Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 pounds).

 

Qualifications of Job:
1. High School Education.
2. Ability to learn product, and work under pressure.
3. Must be a team player.
4. Mechanically inclined.
5. Ability to operate power tools.
6. Previous experience desirable.
7. Clear and effective written and oral communication skills.
