1st Shift Material Handler

Location: Groveland, FL
Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM-4:00PM Monday-Thursday
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our team in Groveland. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and management of raw materials, finished products, and equipment to support production and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain material flow through shakers by breaking up material to prevent bridging and blockages.
• Monitor and maintain finishing screens by scraping screens to ensure proper product flow.
• Perform housekeeping duties to prevent material buildup under conveyors, walkways, and catwalks while following all safety procedures.
• Meet established quality and production standards.
• Report equipment issues and operational concerns to maintenance personnel.
• Assist with small bag line operations as needed.
• Help with pallet restacking and general cleanup activities.
• Safely move, store, and handle raw materials and finished products.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous material handling or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
