Childcare Teacher II

Salary: $18.35-$27.30/hour

We are partnered with a high-quality early learning program who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Teacher II to provide exceptional care and education to young children. This role is responsible for creating a positive learning environment, implementing developmentally appropriate practices, and leading classroom planning to support children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.

The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys working collaboratively with a teaching team, and is committed to helping children reach developmental milestones through engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

Pay Range: $18.35-$27.30/hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and experiences.
• Lead classroom curriculum planning and daily learning activities.
• Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress.
• Maintain positive communication with families and team members.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and program requirements.
• Promote a positive classroom culture that encourages learning and growth.

Qualifications:

Candidates must meet one of the following educational requirements:

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education; OR
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Exceptional Student Education; OR
• Associate Degree or higher in another field with at least six college credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Growth and Development, or a related field.

Additional Requirements:

• Current Level 2 AHCA Background Clearance.
• Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
