Our client, a well-established industrial manufacturer in the New Orleans area, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their Plant Facilities department on day shift.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent AND an associate's degree, technical school diploma, military training, or 10 years of related experience
- Advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex metal fabricating machinery in a high-precision manufacturing environment, including VFDs
- Fanuc, Allen Bradley & Siemens experience preferred
- Experience with Trumpf lasers and benders, Rondo rollers, Okuma, Ecoca, OM LTD, John Ford, Toyoda, and Landis equipment, grinders, mills, and lathes preferred
- Exposure to HPLV painting, powder coating, blasting/reclaiming systems, stamping presses, EDM equipment, welders, cranes, and hoists is a plus
- Experience, licenses, or advanced training in industrial trades (electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, HVAC, boilers, air compressors, etc.) is a plus
- Ability to read drawings, schematics, and service manuals, and execute directives from equipment manufacturers' technical support via phone or email
- Self-starter who can prioritize jobs with limited supervision
- Familiarity with and adherence to OSHA safety standards and regulations
- Ensures production equipment is maintained to OEM standards with appropriate maintenance documentation completed
