Grounds worker/Cleaner Job Summary: One of the area’s top property management companies is looking for an experienced grounds technician for one of their properties in the Grand Rapids area. Do you enjoy learning new things, working outdoors and you take pride in your work?  We have an excellent opportunity for you!

Grounds worker/Cleaner Responsibilities:

• Wash walls, doors, and other facility surfaces to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Vacuum and clean hallways, common areas, and walkways to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
• Maintain outside grounds by picking up trash, debris, and litter around the facility.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the building as needed.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting assigned work areas.
• Assist with routine facility maintenance and special cleaning projects while following safety procedures and company standards.

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift; 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm; 2-3 days/week
• $16.00-$20.00/HR

Grounds worker/Cleaner Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a reliable means of transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or general labor experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work safely while using cleaning equipment and supplies.
