CNC Operator & Custom Carpentry Assistant

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | 3-4 Days per Week

What You'll Do

• Operate CNC machinery used in custom stair and woodworking production
• Assist with the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of custom stair components and architectural millwork
• Read measurements, production drawings, and work orders
• Load materials and monitor machine performance to ensure quality and accuracy
• Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, sand, assemble, and finish products
• Inspect completed work to maintain high craftsmanship and quality standards
• Assist with shop organization, material handling, and general production support
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional work environment
• Collaborate with experienced craftsmen and production team members to complete projects on schedule

Who We're Looking For

Experienced Candidates

• Previous experience in CNC operation, woodworking, carpentry, cabinetmaking, millwork, fabrication, or manufacturing
• Ability to work with precision measurements and shop drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment

Entry-Level & Early Career Candidates

• Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
• Interest in woodworking, manufacturing, construction, or skilled trades
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team

Paid training is available for candidates with the right attitude and desire to build a long-term career.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and woodworking environment
• Ability to safely operate tools and equipment after training
