Delivery Van Driver

Location: Kenilworth, NJ
Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time

 

We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Delivery Van Driver for a full-time position in Kenilworth, NJ. This role involves operating a company delivery van and safely delivering products to customers throughout the local area.

This is a hands-on delivery position. Drivers will regularly load, unload, carry, and move products, including items weighing 100+ pounds. Candidates must be comfortable with the physical demands of the job and providing professional service at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery van on scheduled routes

• Load and unload products for daily deliveries

• Deliver products accurately and on time

• Lift, carry, and maneuver heavy and bulky items weighing 100+ pounds

• Secure products properly inside the vehicle to prevent damage

• Verify deliveries and required paperwork

• Maintain professional communication with customers

• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns

• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized

• Follow all company and DOT safety procedures

• Assist with loading, staging, and other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean and acceptable driving record

• Previous delivery driving experience preferred

• Experience operating a cargo or commercial delivery van is a plus

• Ability to safely lift and move 100+ pounds

• Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work Monday through Friday

• Strong customer-service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedules

• Must be able to pass applicable pre-employment screening

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has experience as a Delivery Driver, Route Driver, Van Driver, Furniture Delivery Driver, Appliance Delivery Driver, Warehouse Driver, or Local Delivery Driver and is comfortable handling large and heavy products.

 

Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour

 

Schedule: Monday–Friday
