Structural Precast Concrete Project Manager
Location: Marysville/Roseville, California

Position Summary
The Structural Precast Concrete Project Manager oversees projects from contract award through engineering, production, delivery, field erection, completion, and closeout. This position coordinates with customers, general contractors, engineers, architects, production teams, field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality and safety requirements.
The ideal candidate will have project management experience in precast concrete, structural concrete, construction, structural steel, building systems, or a related industry, with an understanding of the coordination required between engineering, manufacturing, transportation, and field installation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Manage structural and architectural precast projects from award through completion and closeout.

Review contracts, plans, specifications, schedules, and project scope.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and documentation.

Coordinate with customers, general contractors, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Track engineering drawings, submittals, RFIs, revisions, approvals, and project correspondence.

Review drawings and specifications for scope, constructability, coordination, and potential issues.

Coordinate approved projects with production, quality control, transportation, and field erection teams.

Monitor production, delivery, and installation schedules and address potential delays or conflicts.

Coordinate delivery sequencing, site readiness, transportation, crane requirements, staging, and jobsite access.

Monitor project costs and profitability, including labor, materials, subcontractors, equipment, and transportation.

Identify and communicate potential cost overruns, schedule delays, scope changes, and other project risks.

Manage change orders by documenting scope changes, coordinating pricing, and tracking approvals.

Maintain organized project records and ensure key communications, decisions, and approvals are documented.

Assist with billing, contract documentation, retention, and other financial matters as needed.

Coordinate resolution of quality issues, field deficiencies, punch-list items, and warranty concerns.

Support safety requirements and communicate significant safety, quality, schedule, or contractual concerns to management.

Coordinate project closeout, including final documentation, approvals, punch-list completion, warranty items, and final billing.

Participate in project, progress, coordination, and jobsite meetings and provide regular updates to management.
Qualifications
Required
-
3+ years of project management experience in construction, precast concrete, structural concrete, structural steel, or a related industry.

Ability to read and interpret construction, structural, and architectural drawings.

Understanding of construction schedules, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.

Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, contractors, engineers, production teams, and field personnel.
Preferred
-
Experience specifically with precast or structural concrete construction.

Knowledge of precast manufacturing, erection, and installation.

Experience working with PCI-certified precast operations.

Experience coordinating with structural engineering and drafting teams.

Familiarity with construction/project management software.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Work Environment
This position is primarily office and project-management based but requires regular interaction with manufacturing facilities, construction jobsites, customers, subcontractors, and field erection crews.
Travel to jobsites is required. The position may involve working around heavy equipment, cranes, trucks, concrete products, elevated work areas, and uneven surfaces.
