POSITION OVERVIEW

 

Our client is seeking a motivated Set Up Tech to join their production team. This role is responsible for assembling, configuring, and preparing products or equipment according to established instructions and specifications. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble products, equipment, or components by following written and verbal setup instructions.
• Read blueprints, work orders, or diagrams to complete assigned setup tasks accurately.
• Use basic hand tools and mechanical aptitude to complete assembly and configuration tasks.
• Navigate basic computer systems to log production data, pull work orders, or record completed tasks.
• Maintain pace with the team's workload to help meet daily production goals.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical or assembly issues, escalating as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Adapt quickly to new tasks, processes, and product lines as business needs change.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read, understand, and follow directions effectively.
• Basic computer navigation skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong initiative to work independently.
