Local long seated retail store fixture company in Poulsbo area is looking to add a career driven project manager to their team. This key person is responsible for project management, planning, scheduling, estimating, bidding and working to build business with future clients. They desire a focused team player who can work effectively in an often fast-paced work environment.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for job financial management including budgeting, forecasting and monitoring costs.
- Coordinate submittals
- Manage job schedules, changes and change orders.
- Manage and oversee subcontractors
- Manage the material suppliers on the project.
- Prepare As-Built drawings and project closeout documents.
- Administer the construction contract.
- Coordinate the efforts of all parties including clients, stores and their representatives architects, consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors, on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain strict adherence to the quality and safety standards on each job
- Follow through with client (s) after job completion to insure and provide complete satisfaction
- Prepare estimates for and bid on new contracts.
- Develop schedules.
- Prepare proposals for new projects
- Enter into negotiations with customers, when applicable.
- Prepare and review contracts.
- Professionally represent the company to clients and other trades.
Requirements:
- Previous estimating and project management experience of store fixtures, millwork, and/or casework.
- Ability to travel within US and Canada when needed
- Professional clear oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills to create and manage spreadsheets and job reports.
- Strong leadership skills and relationship building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
- Willingness and ability to learn and use estimating software, reports, and analysis.
- Ability to work harmoniously with groups of differing personalities and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Understanding and ability to navigate CAD programs is a bonus
Pay:
$35.00 to $40.00 /hr based on skills and previous work experience
Schedule:
Full time Permanent Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm with possible overtime as needed for projects
