1st & 2nd Shift Boiler Technician
Located in Seymour, IN
Salary: $20-21/hr
Company Information: A company in Seymour, Indiana is hiring 1st & 2nd Shift Boiler Techs to their team! This is a direct hire opportunity!
This position is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient boiler performance while completing routine inspections, maintenance, and housekeeping tasks. On-the-job training is provided for motivated candidates who are eager to learn and grow.

Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday / 6am-2pm
- 2nd Shift: Sun-Thurs / 2pm-10pm
Job Duties:
- Monitor and inspect boiler equipment, controls, gauges, alarms, valves, and safety devices.
- Observe and interpret readings to ensure boilers are operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain proper chemical and fuel levels within the boiler system.
- Test boiler water quality and add chemicals as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures.
- Assist with general housekeeping of the boiler room and surrounding areas.
- Work closely with team members to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Communicate equipment concerns and provide input on repairs and process improvements.
Requirements:
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn; on-the-job training provided.
