Safety Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee and promote a safe working environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience managing inspectors and safety personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a team of safety inspectors
• Schedule, train, and monitor inspectors to ensure safety standards are consistently followed
• Conduct and coordinate workplace safety inspections
• Identify potential hazards and develop corrective action plans
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable safety regulations
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation
• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs
• Communicate safety expectations to employees, supervisors, and management
• Monitor inspection results and follow up on corrective actions
• Provide leadership and guidance to inspectors and field personnel
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Safety Manager or similar safety leadership role
• Experience managing inspectors or inspection personnel required
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices and OSHA regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient with computers and standard office software
• Safety certifications are a plus
