Dolly Repair Technician – 2nd Shift

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Dolly Repair Technician for a manufacturing facility in Georgetown, KY. This is a hands-on position responsible for repairing and maintaining plant dollies, completing preventative maintenance, and assisting with basic fabrication projects throughout the facility.

This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanical experience who enjoys working with tools, troubleshooting, repairing equipment & working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Repair & maintain plant dollies as needed
• Complete scheduled monthly preventative maintenance (PMs)
• Perform basic fabrication work as requested
• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs
• Maintain a clean & organized work area following 5S standards
• Follow all safety procedures & work instructions
• Participate in team meetings & training
• Assist in other areas of the facility as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Previous maintenance, repair, fabrication or related hands-on experience preferred
• Welding experience is a plus
• Ability to read & follow basic work instructions
• Basic math skills, including fractions & decimals
• Dependable with strong attention to safety
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Willing to learn additional skills through on-the-job training
