Assembly/Production Line Worker

Location: Waterloo, IA
Pay: $17.75/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM

Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking an Assembly/Production Line Worker to join a local manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing repetitive assembly processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with hand tools, fixtures, and electronic and pneumatic tooling while maintaining quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble air gauges and related components on a production line
• Perform repetitive mechanical and electrical assembly tasks
• Use hand tools, fixtures, and electronic and pneumatic tooling safely and effectively
• Follow assembly instructions and quality standards
• Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet daily production goals and deadlines
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform repetitive assembly work with attention to detail
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good vision and hearing
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the shift
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds as needed
• Frequent twisting, bending, and reaching
• Repetitive hand and wrist movements
• Ability to perform pinching and fine motor tasks
• Strong manual dexterity for detailed assembly work
• Ability to work in an environment with temperatures ranging from 68-80 degrees
