Warehouse Shipping Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Associate to join our team. This position will be responsible for preparing orders for shipment, packing materials, loading and unloading products, and ensuring shipments are accurate and properly packaged.

Responsibilities

• Pack materials and products securely for shipment
• Prepare orders for shipping and verify quantities
• Label and organize packages for delivery
• Load and unload shipments
• Receive and inspect incoming materials
• Move and stage products throughout the warehouse
• Maintain an organized and clean shipping area
• Assist with inventory and material handling as needed
• Complete shipping paperwork and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and shipping experience preferred
• Experience packing materials for shipment required/preferred
• Familiarity with shipping procedures and packaging materials
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read and follow work orders and shipping instructions
• Reliable and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience with forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move materials and packages
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive packing and warehouse tasks
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
