About the Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Financial Assistant to join our Finance/Accounting Department. This position will provide administrative and accounting support with accounts payable, invoice processing, payment documentation, data entry, recordkeeping, and general financial activities.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
Education
Experience & Knowledge
-
1–2 years of experience in administrative, accounting, accounts payable, or related functions.

Basic knowledge of accounts payable processes.

Experience with invoice processing and documentation.
-
Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

Experience with data entry, document filing, and records management.
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, review, and process supplier invoices.

Enter invoices and supporting documentation into the appropriate system.

Verify that invoices and supporting documentation are complete and accurate.

Assist with matching and reconciling purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices.

Prepare and maintain supplier files and financial records, both physical and electronic.

Follow up on internal invoice approval processes.

Assist with payment scheduling and payment processing activities.

Respond to supplier calls and emails regarding basic inquiries and invoice clarification.

Update databases, spreadsheets, and departmental reports.

Assist with month-end closing activities.

Provide support during internal audits as needed.

Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation.

Follow company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
