Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong industrial maintenance and electrical background who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain shop equipment and machinery.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preventative maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and general equipment maintenance. When maintenance work is not needed, this individual will work alongside the Mechanical Assembly team to assist with assembly and production projects.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on AC and DC equipment and machinery
  • Work with industrial electrical systems, including 110V, 220V, and 480V
  • Troubleshoot and work with DC electrical systems
  • Form and install conduit and run electrical wiring
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical components and equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on shop equipment, machinery, and tooling
  • Maintain and follow a preventative maintenance schedule
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Maintain and repair electric motors
  • Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and maintain internal combustion engines
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues
  • Assist with equipment installation and repairs
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Assist the Mechanical Assembly team when maintenance work is not required
  • Perform mechanical assembly and other general shop duties as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications

  • Strong industrial maintenance background required
  • Significant experience with industrial electrical systems
  • Experience working with 110V, 220V, 480V, and DC systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot both AC and DC electrical equipment
  • Experience forming and running conduit and pulling/running wire
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Experience with electric motors
  • Basic plumbing experience
  • Experience working with internal combustion engines
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and scheduling
  • Mechanical assembly experience is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to transition between maintenance and mechanical assembly duties as needed
