Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Lathe Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Lathe Machinist will set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints, specifications, and production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Load and unload materials and finished parts
• Select and install proper tooling
• Make machine adjustments and offsets as needed
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
• Monitor machines during production to ensure quality and accuracy
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety and quality procedures
• Meet production and quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous CNC lathe experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Knowledge of CNC machine operation and setup
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Manufacturing or machining experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks safely
