Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Press Brake Operator will set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and form metal according to work orders, blueprints, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machinery
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality
• Select and install the appropriate tooling
• Adjust machine settings as needed
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous press brake operating experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and work orders
• Knowledge of measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Reliable and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to safely perform repetitive physical tasks
