Credit and Collections Clerk

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Credit and Collections Clerk position for a Tyler area company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary opportunities. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services! In this role, you will:

• Process payments and credit card transactions
• Contact customers regarding past-due accounts and outstanding balances
• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with account inquiries
• Provide account balance information and payment options
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate account records
• Handle bond-related transactions and documentation
• Follow up with past clients to collect outstanding funds

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Previous collections, customer service, or office experience preferred
• Strong phone communication skills with the ability to handle heavy call volume
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
