Installation Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Countertop Installation Assistant to join a growing installation team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is interested in learning the countertop installation trade.
You will work alongside an experienced Lead Installer to safely transport, prepare, and install custom countertops in residential and commercial settings. Construction or installation experience is helpful, but not required—we are willing to train the right person.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with loading, unloading, carrying, and transporting countertop materials.
- Help prepare job sites while taking care to protect customer property.
- Assist with positioning, leveling, seaming, and securing countertops.
- Help install sinks, backsplashes, support brackets, and other accessories.
- Apply silicone, adhesives, and sealants as directed.
- Safely use hand and power tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with final job-site cleanup.
- Help inspect completed installations and communicate any concerns to the Lead Installer.
- Keep company tools, vehicles, and equipment clean and in safe working condition.
- Follow company safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
- Assist with shop organization and material handling.
- Learn additional installation and fabrication skills through training and hands-on experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Construction or installation experience is a plus, but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials using proper techniques and equipment.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools, or willing to learn.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Dependable and willing to show up prepared and on time.
Physical Requirements
This position involves physically demanding work, including frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials. The role also requires standing, kneeling, bending, climbing, and occasionally working in confined spaces. Work may take place indoors and outdoors and may involve varying weather conditions.
