Health Services Coordinator / Associate Health Services Coordinator
$23.84/hr to $41.04/hr, depending on qualifications
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
Temporary, 12-week assignment with potential for permanent placement

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Health Services Coordinator or Associate Health Services Coordinator for a healthcare organization in Spokane. We are open to candidates at either level and will determine the best fit based on education and experience. This position works with injured workers, healthcare providers, employers, and insurance representatives to help navigate the Washington workers’ compensation system. The role focuses on care coordination, claim tracking, return-to-work support, documentation, and communication between all parties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with injured workers, healthcare providers, employers, and insurance representatives.
• Assist with workers’ compensation claims and L&I requirements.
• Review and track claims and required documentation.
• Help identify barriers to recovery and return to work.
• Support care coordination and early return-to-work efforts.
• Maintain accurate records and data.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
• Provide outreach and education to healthcare providers and community partners.

Qualifications
Health Services Coordinator:

• Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of relevant experience, or
• 7 years of relevant experience in direct patient care, occupational health, workers’ compensation, return-to-work coordination, or a related field.

Associate Health Services Coordinator:

• High school diploma/GED
• 3 years of qualifying direct patient care experience

Relevant experience may include nursing, CNA/caregiving, case management, vocational rehabilitation, workers’ compensation, behavioral health, or other healthcare roles involving patient advocacy, care coordination, monitoring progress, and working with healthcare providers.

Additional requirement: Selected candidates must receive approval from Washington State Labor & Industries (L&I) before starting. The anticipated start date is approximately 1–2 weeks after interviewing, depending on the approval process.
