IT Support Technician

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for an IT Specialist in Butte, Montana. This is an excellent opportunity for a technology-focused professional who enjoys problem-solving, customer support, and working with a variety of IT systems and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be a dependable, customer-service-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network issues
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, servers, printers, and related equipment
• Support Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications
• Monitor and maintain network performance and security
• Assist with user account management, permissions, and access controls
• Document support requests, resolutions, and system changes
• Perform system updates, backups, and routine maintenance
• Work directly with clients to identify and resolve technical concerns

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration preferred
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking, and cybersecurity best practices
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.) are a plus
