Position Summary
Husky Corporation is hiring a 1st Shift Shipping/Receiving Associate to join their light industrial/warehouse team. This role is responsible for the accurate and efficient flow of materials in and out of the facility — receiving incoming shipments, verifying and staging outgoing orders, and maintaining organized, accurate inventory records. This is a hands-on position suited for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable operating a forklift, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming freight and verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, checking for accuracy, damage, and discrepancies. Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders for shipment, ensuring correct quantities, labeling, and documentation. Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and to move pallets and materials safely throughout the warehouse. Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage locations, following established warehouse layout and labeling systems. Perform regular cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory audits, reporting discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor. Complete shipping and receiving paperwork, bills of lading, and inventory records accurately and in a timely manner. Inspect materials and products for defects or damage prior to shipment or after receipt. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/receiving area in compliance with company safety standards and OSHA guidelines. Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and office staff to coordinate shipment timing and resolve any order or inventory issues. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including bending, lifting, and stooping to retrieve or move materials.
Skills & Qualifications
Prior shipping/receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred. Forklift operation experience required (certification can be provided/verified upon hire if applicable). Basic computer skills for entering and tracking inventory data. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying counts, labels, and documentation. Good organizational and time-management skills to keep up with shipping/receiving schedules. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Ability to bend, lift, and stoop throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and be active for the duration of the shift in a warehouse setting.
