Parts Counter Sales Person -

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Parts Counter Sales Person for a local client!

If you enjoy helping customers, have strong computer skills, and are interested in the automotive industry, this could be a great opportunity for you. We are seeking a customer-focused individual to assist customers with parts inquiries, inventory management, sales transactions, and parts lookups.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $18.00/hour
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Friday through Monday

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers with parts questions and product recommendations
• Look up and identify parts using computer software and catalogs
• Provide pricing quotes and availability information
• Process sales transactions and operate POS systems
• Maintain and track inventory levels
• Receive, stock, and organize parts inventory
• Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone
• Perform general cashiering and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good computer and keyboarding skills
• Ability to learn parts lookup systems and inventory software
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
• Previous parts sales experience is highly preferred
• Experience using computers, fax machines, and POS systems is helpful
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
