CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift (4 Day Work Week!)

Position Summary

One of our clients are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support production in a climate-controlled facility. This role involves operating CNC equipment, inspecting finished parts for quality, and handling materials throughout the production process. The position offers a 4-day work week.

Key Responsibilities

Load and unload finished products from CNC machines. Move fixtures (up to 5 lbs.) and smaller parts (3–4 lbs.) as part of daily production tasks. Take accurate measurements using calipers and micrometers to verify parts meet specifications. Use Windows-based computer systems and learn additional company software/programs as needed. Complete a caliper/micrometer skills test as part of the hiring process (must pass with a score of 80% or higher). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Skills Required

Prior CNC machine experience. Ability to accurately read and use calipers and micrometers. Comfortable working with Windows and willing to learn new computer programs.

Experience Required

Previous hands-on experience with CNC machines.

Education Requirements

GED or High School Diploma.

Equipment Used

Calipers and micrometers.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at times. Steel-toe shoes required.
