Hazardous Waste Sales Representative

Location: Niagara Falls, ON
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

Our client in Niagara Falls is looking for a motivated and dependable Sales Representative to join their team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, developing new business, and working in a combination of office and field environments.

Experience in hazardous waste, environmental services, waste management, industrial services, or related sales is an asset, but we are open to candidates with strong sales and customer service experience who are willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for hazardous waste removal and environmental services.
• Conduct cold calls, customer visits, networking, and follow-ups to generate new business.
• Promote the company's full range of services.
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate waste management solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and service opportunities.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Assist with coordinating hazardous waste pickups and service schedules.
• Communicate with customers, contractors, drivers, and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
• Follow all applicable health, safety, environmental, and transportation regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous sales, business development, customer service, or account management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable making cold calls and developing new business.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in both office and field environments.
• Valid driver's license is an asset.
• WHMIS/TDG or hazardous waste experience is an asset.

Working Conditions

This position involves a combination of office and field work. The successful candidate may visit industrial and commercial customer sites and must follow all required safety procedures and PPE requirements.
