Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a Dubuque, IA company to search for a Drafter.

This full-time, 1st shift position is ideal for someone with drafting/CAD experience and a background in construction or a related field. The right candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to understand construction concepts and translate them into accurate drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create diagrams and drawings using AutoCAD
• Complete work tickets and production documentation
• Follow up on design questions and details
• Work with the drafting and production teams to ensure projects are accurate

Qualifications:

• Previous CAD/AutoCAD experience required
• Construction or masonry experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to learn company-specific systems and standards
• High school diploma or equivalent
