About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Wiring Technician to join our trailer manufacturing team. In this position, you will install, route, and connect standard 12V DC electrical systems across a variety of trailer builds (utility, enclosed, equipment, and custom haulers). If you have hands-on experience with automotive or trailer electrical wiring and take pride in clean, reliable workmanship, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, route, and secure main wiring harnesses, brake lines, and auxiliary power systems along trailer frames.

  • Mount and wire interior/exterior LED lighting, breakaway kits, junction boxes, battery setups, and trailer plugs (4-way, 7-way blade).

  • Perform electrical diagnostics, continuity checks, and final testing on all light and brake circuits before inspection.

  • Read and interpret basic electrical schematics, blueprints, and build sheets.

  • Crimp, solder, seal, and heat-shrink electrical connections to withstand harsh weather conditions.

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all workshop safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in 12V DC electrical wiring (trailer, automotive, marine, or RV industry preferred).

  • Skills: Proficient with hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, heat guns, and multimeters/circuit testers.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of standard color-coded trailer wiring, electric brake controllers, and grounding methods.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to bend, kneel, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout a shift.

  • Work Ethic: High attention to detail, strong troubleshooting ability, and a reliable track record of attendance.
