Journeyman Electrician (5+ Years Experience Required)
Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician for a growing company in Gate City, VA.
We are seeking candidates with 5+ years of electrical experience in industrial, commercial, or residential settings. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of electrical codes, and the ability to work independently. Some travel is required for project work.
Pay: $30.00+/hour, based on experience
Schedule & Benefits:
- 4 days on, 3 days off schedule

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
- Install conduit, wiring, panels, breakers, and controls
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Travel to job sites as needed
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of completed work
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of electrical experience
- Journeyman Electrician license/certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
