We are partnering with a key Redmond employer on a four-month, contract role for an experienced HR & Recruiting Specialist.  

What You Get to Do! 
This position performs professional work in Human Resources, primarily in recruitment, but also in maintaining personnel files, program administration, and other Human Resources services. This position will work with multiple departments and/or program areas and exercise a moderate level of independence combined with professional judgment.
•    Lead the recruitment process, including establishing position requirements and parameters, posting positions, screening applicants, coordinating, applicant selection support and coordinating offers.
•    Create, manage, track, and edit recruitments in  an applicant tracking software.
•    Advertises recruitments on various platforms (such as LinkedIn, Craigslist, Indeed, etc.)
•    Provide support for coordinating employee on-boarding and orientation processes, including preparation of documents, assembly of materials, and relevant record keeping. 
•    Provide support for coordinating employee off-boarding processes, including preparation of documents, exit interviews, and relevant record keeping. 
•    Provide support to the performance evaluation process including process coordination, training, tracking and consultation with managers and/or supervisors.
•    Knowledgeable and have the ability to cross train and answer general questions in multiple areas of Human Resources. 
•    Establishes and maintains a variety of files and other records; maintains accurate and timely record processing and statistical information.

What You Will Bring…
•    An Associates degree in Human Resources Management or related field
•    Two (2) years verifiable work experience in human resources to include twelve (12) months recruitment experience. 
•    Thorough knowledge of general office practices and procedures; correct and effective use of grammar, business technical writing, spelling, and punctuation. 
•    Well-developed writing skills to prepare reports, technical, and procedural documentation. 
•    Knowledge of computer systems and software including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Acrobat. 
•    Understand and execute oral and written instructions; express ideas and convey information accurately and effectively, orally and in writing; maintain confidentiality; deal effectively with frequent interruptions and several situations at one time; establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, public and private offices, and the general public; and effectively use business email and telephone etiquette.
•    The position could be required to operate a vehicle in the course of their position. Possession of, or must obtain within thirty (30) days from date of hire, a valid Oregon drivers license.  Must have a safe driving record.

Necessary Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
•    Broad knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of Human Resources and personnel administration. 
•    Knowledge of and ability to interpret applicable Human Resource-related Federal, State, and local personnel laws, rules, and regulations. 
•    Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate Human Resource information/issues, develop recommendations and alternatives.
•    Ability to prepare and evaluate/analyze data and prepare narrative and statistical reports from data, written outlines and/or oral instructions.
•    High level of skill with oral presentations to individuals and large groups, and written communications to internal and external customers.
•    Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all Human Resource matters. 
•    Ability to exercise keen time management skills, balance multiple priorities, and consistently meet timelines and due dates. 
•    Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with individuals and groups, be an effective collaborator in a team-centered environment and work effectively under general direction.
•    Ability to utilize Microsoft Office technology applications in documents processing, spreadsheets, databases, power point presentations and publishing software applications.
