We’re looking for a driven, outgoing Business Development Representative to help grow an established product-based business in Asheville and Western North Carolina.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, opening doors, and turning conversations into long-term customers.

What You’ll Do

• Develop new business through cold calling, prospecting, networking, referrals, and in-person outreach
• Identify and connect with potential customers throughout the market
• Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients
• Learn the company’s products and confidently explain their value
• Build relationships with business owners, managers, purchasing professionals, and other decision-makers
• Prepare quotes and follow up on sales opportunities
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and new business opportunities
• Attend local networking, industry, and community events
• Work with leadership to identify new markets and opportunities for growth
• Build long-term customer relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals

What We’re Looking For

• Previous B2B sales or business development experience preferred
• Comfortable with cold calling and face-to-face prospecting
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Organized and consistent with follow-up
• Goal-driven and motivated by earning potential
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, electronics, technical products, or a similar field is a plus, but not required

Product training will be provided for the right person.

Compensation

$50,000–$60,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus uncapped commission based on sales performance.

This is a direct-hire opportunity with strong earning potential for someone who enjoys building business from the ground up and wants to play a key role in growing a company’s presence throughout Western North Carolina.
