Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time
Pay: $35/hr+ DOE

Our client is a well-established commercial landscaping contractor with over 27 years of experience specializing in commercial landscape installations for new construction projects throughout Arizona.

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting and billing functions for active construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction billing, AIA pay applications, job costing, payroll processing, and construction management software.

Responsibilities
Prepare and submit AIA billing and pay applications
Process monthly construction billings
Track project costs and assist with job costing
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Support payroll processing
Set up new projects and maintain project documentation
Assist with lien waivers and subcontractor compliance documentation
Reconcile accounts and support month-end close activities
Maintain accurate records within Procore, Textura, QuickBooks, and Excel
Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate project financial reporting
Qualifications
3+ years of construction accounting experience preferred
Experience with AIA billing, G702/G703 forms, and pay applications
Experience with job costing and construction billing
Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Experience with Procore and/or Textura strongly preferred
Payroll processing experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred Experience
Construction, subcontractor, landscape construction, civil construction, or general contractor accounting experience
WIP (Work in Progress) reporting
Contract administration
Lien waiver processing
