Construction - General Laborer

Located in Farmersville, TX

Salary: $17/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Construction - General Laborer position for a local Farmersville, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Assist with cleaning, packing, unpacking, and preparing mining machines.
• De-rack mining machines as they arrive and assist with up-racking machines as needed.
• Perform general labor and support tasks on the job site.
• Safely lift and move materials 
• Perform frequent bending, stooping, and other physical tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and instructions from supervisors.
• Work outdoors and in hot temperatures for extended periods.

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work.
• Ability to routinely lift at least 40 pounds or more.
• Comfortable with bending, stooping, and repetitive physical activity.
• Must be able to work in the heat.
• Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and follow direction.
