Forklift / Shipping & Receiving Associate

Location: Sanger, TX
Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00/hour
Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 7 days a week
Project Duration: 2 weeks (Moving to Denton, Tx for temp-hire opportunity.)
Expected Hours: 56+ hours per week

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals of Denton County is seeking dependable Forklift Operators and Shipping & Receiving Associates to support a short-term, high-volume project in Sanger. The ideal candidates will have strong forklift experience, shipping and receiving knowledge, and experience using handheld scanners and inventory systems.

This is a fast-paced opportunity that requires individuals who are comfortable working extended hours, including weekends, throughout the duration of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and materials.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure products are properly staged.
• Use handheld/RF scanners to track inventory and shipments.
• Accurately scan, label, and document products as they move throughout the facility.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Match physical inventory to system records and report discrepancies.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Organize products and materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines.
• Assist with other warehouse and shipping/receiving duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required for forklift positions.
• Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience strongly preferred.
• Experience using RF/handheld scanners and inventory systems.
• Ability to accurately track and document inventory.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Must be available to work 7 days a week for the duration of the project.
• Must be comfortable working 56+ hours per week.

Important Project Information

This is a temporary project expected to last approximately 2 weeks. Associates should be prepared for a full schedule, including weekends and overtime, as the project requires. Moving to Denton for temp-hire opportunity.

• 12 Associates Total
