General Labor / Installation Helper – One-Day Assignment

A local company in Porter, TX is searching for 4 General Labor / Installation Helpers to assist with a store installation project. This is a one-day temporary assignment on September 15th starting at 7:00 AM. The ideal candidate will be dependable, able to perform physical labor, and comfortable assisting with unloading, moving equipment, assembly, and job-site cleanup.

 

Responsibilities:

• Offload trucks containing equipment and installation materials.
• Carry equipment, cabinets, countertops, and other materials inside the store.
• Assist installers with the assembly of prefabricated cabinets and countertops.
• Break down boxes and packaging materials.
• Pick up and remove trash and debris from the work area.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site throughout the assignment.
• Follow instructions from the onsite supervisor and installation crew.
• Assist with other general labor duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous general labor, construction, installation, warehouse, or material handling experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry equipment and materials.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Must be dependable and report to the job site on time.
• Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team.
• Must follow all job-site safety requirements.

Required Attire / PPE:

• Work boots
• Long pants
• Hard hat
• Safety vest or high-visibility shirt with 4" sleeves
• Safety glasses and cut-resistant gloves as needed
