Receiving Warehouse Associate – Express Employment Professionals

Location: Billings, MT Schedule: Monday–Friday Pay: 18+DOE, with overtime opportunities

Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable Receiving Warehouse Associate to support daily inbound operations for a busy, fast-paced warehouse. This role focuses on unloading shipments, verifying incoming materials, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe, efficient receiving area. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable working in a team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Unload incoming freight using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy.
Inspect incoming materials for damage or quality issues and report discrepancies.
Label, sort, and stage products for storage or distribution.
Maintain organized receiving docks, staging areas, and inventory zones.
Update inventory systems with accurate counts and documentation.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth flow of materials.
Follow all safety procedures, proper lifting techniques, and equipment protocols.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse or receiving experience required
Ability to lift 40–50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Basic computer or scanner proficiency for inventory entry.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Must pass background check and drug screening.
Forklift experience a plus; certification provided if needed.
