Yard Hand Job Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, Bobcats, and telescopic/telehandler forklifts
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Move and organize materials throughout the yard
• Assist with general yard maintenance and cleanup
• Prepare materials and equipment for shipping or production
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
• Perform other general yard and material-handling duties as needed

Yard Hand Qualifications

• Previous forklift or material handling experience preferred
• Experience operating a Bobcat, telehandler, or telescopic forklift is a plus
• Ability to safely move and handle materials
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical job duties
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
