Express Employment Professionals is hiring Warehouse Associates and Material Handlers for a busy distribution center in Wheeling, WV! Pay: $17.00 per hour

This is a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment where you will receive, scan, pick, pack, replenish, and prepare products for shipment while operating various types of material handling equipment.

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities

• Receive large boxes and products on the warehouse dock
• Scan products using an RF scanner
• Enter product information into a computer system
• Break down cases of product
• Replenish warehouse inventory
• Pick large and small products using a voice-to-pick system
• Operate material handling equipment to pick and move products
• Palletize large items onto skids and wrap products for shipment
• Pack smaller products into boxes
• Operate warehouse equipment as required, including:
  • Order picker / cherry picker
  • Forklift
  • Reach truck
  • Turret truck
  • Pallet jack
  • Walkie rider
• Rotate between various warehouse areas and job duties as needed

Warehouse Job Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment
• Ability to meet hourly productivity quotas and performance standards
• Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and lift for an 8-hour shift or longer
• Ability to safely work at heights up to 25 feet
• Willingness to work overtime with little to no advance notice
• Basic warehouse, material handling, and packaging skills
• Willingness to learn and operate various material handling equipment
• Flexibility to rotate into different warehouse departments

Preferred Experience

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience
• Material handling experience
• Forklift, reach truck, order picker, or pallet jack experience
• RF scanner experience
• Voice-to-pick experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred
