Welder Helper

Pay: $18.00/hour
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

We are looking for a Welder Helper to assist the Main Welder with cutting, bending, and preparing metal materials. Training will be provided on the specific machinery used in the facility.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Assist the Main Welder with cutting and bending metal.
• Learn to operate specific machines, including a CNC 100-ton press.
• Basic knowledge of MIG welding.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Operate shearing equipment to cut materials of different gauges.
• Some knowledge of a CNC turret press is a plus; machines are already programmed.
• Must be comfortable using a tape measure and taking accurate measurements.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Previous welding or metal fabrication experience is preferred.

Training:
Training will be provided on the specific machines and processes used for the position.
