Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Manufacturing Machine Operator for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity in Donora, PA.

Pay & Schedule
- $17.00 per hour, based on experience
- Full-time, direct-hire position
- Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- No travel required
- Forklift certification preferred; training may be available
- PPE provided
Manufacturing Machine Operator Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Machine Operator, you will operate and assist with the setup and production of hydraulic and mechanical presses, industrial saws, and other fabrication equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate hydraulic and mechanical press equipment, industrial saws, and other manufacturing machinery
- Select the correct templates and materials based on work orders
- Accurately measure materials using a tape measure
- Produce parts according to established specifications and quality standards
- Assist the department foreman with meeting daily production goals
- Monitor finished work for quality and accuracy
- Minimize material waste and scrap through accurate measurements and careful machine operation
- Assist other production departments when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Report equipment issues, repairs, or facility maintenance needs to management
- Report non-conforming materials or products
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
- Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment as required
Manufacturing Machine Operator Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous manufacturing, machine operator, fabrication, or production experience preferred
- Ability to quickly and accurately read a tape measure
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to understand measurements, numbers, and basic mathematical concepts
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software and applications
- Willingness to learn new equipment and manufacturing processes
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus
