We are currently looking for Packagers for one of our local clients.

 

Duties & Responsibilities for Packagers:

• package all finished steel coils
• Inspect coil for any physical damage
• Prepare all required packaging materials customizing length or size
• Maintain housekeeping in work area at all times
• Maintain packaging schedule and rush lists, communicate by phone or email
• Crane operation

Skill & Education required for Packagers:

• Good manual dexterity
• Excellent physical stamina
• Analytical capabilities
• Ability to exercise some independent judgement
• Flexibility and willingness to assume a wide variety of process-related duties
• Good interpersonal skills
• Computer skills
• Preferably one or two years of training in general or specific skills at a community college level.

Hours & compensation for Packagers:

• $26/hr
• working 12 hour shifts with alternate weekends
